Welcome to the official CLFO webpage, and thank you for your support, and concern. Californians for the Legalization of Ferret Ownership, or CLFO is a small, web based organization honed twords the goal of ferret ownership in the state of California. Currently, ferrets are outlawed in California, and it is the position of CLFO that ferrets have been unjustly and unreasonabally banned. Our current goal is to end the dispute, once and for all.
What We Are Doing
In attempt to shed light on the situation, we have a petition to collect the signatures of supporters of our cause. Most Californians asked to sign the petitions believe ferrets should not in fact be outlawed. Once a substantial amount of registered voters have signed in support of legalization, the petition will be sent to the Fish and Game department of California. More to Come.
